Carved and assembled from cypress wood in yosegi zukuri technique and modeled as Jizo bosatsu (Ksitigarbha) standing, wearing robe open at the torso and falling in pleats, inlaid crystals on the forehead, the inlaid crystal eyes painted with black pupils ringed in red, painted with color and gold, set on a carved-wood lotus stand
