TSUKIOKA YOSHITOSHI (1839-1892)
A group of four prints
Woodblock print, from the series Tsuki hyakushi (One hundred aspects of the moon), signed Yoshitoshi, published by Akiyama Buemon, comprising:
1) Kuruwa no tsuki (Moon of the pleasure quarters)
2) Meigetsu ya tatami no ue ni matsu no kage (Full moon on the tatami mats shadows of the pine branches)
3) Kimi wa ima, Komakata atari, hototogisu - Takao (By now you must be near Komakata, a cuckoo calls - Takao)
4) Shinjo noryo (Evening cool at Shijo)
Vertical oban: 1434 x 10 in. (37.5 x 25.4 cm.) each approx.
