The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
It is in our opinion that the property is in good overall condition for its age.
Taller:
- One securing strand near the mouth is replaced with string; another securing strand has been restrung
- A short break to one strand at the bottom near one corner
Shorter:
- Minor fraying to the strands used as securing mechanism for the handle
- Some minor splitting and lifting and loss to a few strands on the body
- A small section of loss to one strand surrounding the foot
- Minor separation between the two panels that make up the underside of the base
