We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The screen with yellow ground:
- Appears to be in overall good condition

The screen with green ground:
- Restoration to one standing spandrel with associated overpainting and some fill
- A fine glaze line or hairline extend from the top of the proper right panel to the support of the standing spandrel at the back side
- The bottom edge of the stand has been polished
- A few short firing cracks original to manufacture
- The underside of the stand has been overpainted and inscribed with an apocryphal “ Kangxi sishi nian (the 40^th year of Kangxi)” date
