The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The higher one:
-head might have been broken and restored
-restoration to the face of the equestrian
-restored chips and touch-ups to the raising parts of the horse's mane
The smaller one:
-one corner of the tile broken and restored
-the mane above the horse head restored
-restorations and touch-ups to the ears of the horse, the hat of the equestrian, the robe, the reins, the saddle and the body of the horse
