The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The flat group:
-there are some natural dark, russet and white inclusions to the back
-some russet inclusions to the front
-good overall condition
The other group:
-there is a small white area in the stone below the neck of the smaller duck
-there is a natural white flaw in the stone with associated russet areas to the back of the group along the ruyi heads
-small russet inclusions to the stone
-otherwise good overall condition
