- the handle is missing, with associated areas of polishing to where it would have joined the neck and body
- the mouth rim and rim of spout are also polished
- an L-shaped filled firing crack with associated glaze lines to the body near one ridge, and other short firing cracks to the body and to the foot
- some expected light surface scratches and abrasion consistent with age and use
- some spur marks and a glaze gap to the underside of the base, which are original to manufacture
