The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Some chips to the mouth rim, one of which associated with a reverse T-shaped hairline crack extending to the upper section of the body.
A 22 cm. high and approx. 17 cm. wide reverse T-shaped crack going down from the mouth rim.
A hairline crack circling the luting joint, possibly due to the firing process, two firing cracks under the base.
An old chip under the base.
A star-crack inside the vase (the visible on the exterior).
One of the two metal circles to the neck is missing.
Some firing spots, some pin-size glaze gaps.
General age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
