The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
Brush pot:
Some wear to the gilding.
Good overall condition.
Washer:
Some wear to the gilding and to the glaze.
A burst glaze bubble to the mouth rim and to the exterior of the washer.
Some kiln grit adhesions to the foot.
The wood stand with the feet possibly reattached.
General age-related surface wear, scratches and minute firing faults as can be expected.
