The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
One cover has a tiny area of touch-up to the reverse.
There are some minute nicks and flakes to the raised decoration and edges of the ornaments.
There is some wear to the gilding, with parts of the gilt decoration possibly retouched.
There is general age-related wear, with minor firing flaws and surface scratches, as expected.
