The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.

One dish:
An approx. 8 cm. wide C-shaped area of restoration to the rim, some small areas of restoration.
Age cracks to the enamels, especially in the well.
A few minute indentations to the metal rims.

The other dish:
Some pitting to the enamels.
Age cracks to the enamels.
A few minute nicks to the enamels below the mouth rim.

General age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
