The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This axe is in a good and stable condition overall. As visible from the illustration, the blade and steel mount have some overall weathering and pitting, consistent with age. There are some very minor dents to the edges of the blade and there is a very small hole beneath the deity. The pigments of the painted wooden handle have some flaking and occasional small chips to the wood, including two chips to the rounded end of the handle.
