This painting is in a good and stable condition overall. The painting has been cropped from a larger folio. The pigments are strong and clear overall with some scattered minor losses which mainly affect the right hand edge and areas of the blue pigments, as shown in the illustration. and there is a small area of flaking to the purple rocks in the background. The painting has been pasted onto a plain card backing which has a small loss to the lower left corner and some abrasions which do not affect the painting. There is a pencil inscription on the lower edge of the backing with measurements and one on the reverse with the number '12'.
