The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The red shawl cloth is strong with occasional loss; the white is also strong under the arch, the hashiya border stripes which are the oldest element with more darns and wear particularly on the arches. Minor staining, darns and repairs to the reverse. The blue silk borders on the reverse are worn and rubbed.
