The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
There are faint vertical lines running across both edges of the painting, possibly from past framing or mounting. There is a very small tear on the left side of the image, where the architecture meets the edge. There is a very small circular loss to the paper, at the dog's head. There is a small brown stain in the woman's burgundy skirt and a small white stain amove the well. There is a faint brown area of staining in the top, right corner. There is a light waterstain in the top, left corner. There is small pigment loss in the horse's mane.
