Kitae [forging pattern]: indistinct itame
Hamon [tempering pattern]: sanbontsugi becoming gunome in places, ko-nie, ashi

Nakago [tang]: ubu, slightly ha-agari, taka-no-ha, single mekugi-ana

Koshirae [mounting]: the later black-lacquered handachi-style koshirae decorated in gold hiramaki-e [low relief lacquer] with sparrows, small fittings with sea waves in Omori style, the tsuba with dragon and tiger
