The kabuto an eight plate oboshi-bachi [riveted helmet] signed Masanobu, maedate [fore crest] of a moon, menpo [face mask] with bushy moustache, gold lacquered shikoro [neck guard], the cuirass clad with decorative Dutch leather, gold lacquered shikoro, iron shinogote sleeves, black lacquered itazane kusazuri, gold lacquered iyo haidate [thigh guard], tsutsu-suneate [lower leg guards], with a modern armour box
