We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture. -There is overall loss to the slip on the surface, with some remaining with black pigment on the head, as well as some earth encrustation on the base -There are repaired breaks to the ears (one possibly replaced), muzzle, neck, tail, legs, base and arms and hands of the equestrian, with some associated fill and overpainting -The number 63.8 is painted in red on the base
