The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Several vertical and horizontal creases with associated pigment loss. Vertical area of staining at the left side of the painting near the edge. Another vertical area of staining in the top left quadrant. Small loss at the upper left center edge, where its pulled away from the mount. A few areas of flecked yellow paint on the surface, including at the center left edge and center bottom of the painting. Other areas of minor staining and discoloration and a few areas of discrete pigment loss. Four rectangular patches at the back from the painting, likely for consolidation.
