The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
It is in our opinion that the property is in fair overall condition for its age, except:
-There are some expected lacquer losses, chips, cracks and surface wear.
-There are retouched cracks on face, shoulders and some parts of robe.
-The back side is discolored due to smoking.
-The hands are reattached, and hoju (wish granting jewel) is later added.
-The sculpture is attached to the base.
