The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

As is typical of this type and age of folding screen, there are small tears and associated restorations in places with some touching-in of pigments and gold leaf, especially around the hinges with some surface losses of paper. There are some surface marks, water marks and light scratches in places. As can be seen in the photograph, there is a small mark near the left deer. The mount is generally in good condition with some minor wear consistent with age.
