A SMALL YAOZHOU CHRYSANTHEMUM-FORM DISH
CHINA, NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY (960-1127)
The rounded sides are crisply moulded with radiating petals, rising to the corresponding lobed rim in the form of a chrysanthemum, the interior is finely carved with stylised foliage and a blossoming flower to the centre; covered overall in an olive green glaze.
