The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work has been inspected out of its frame. Pinholes are present along the left, right and upper edges. The paper undulates slightly and is yellowed along the margins. inscribed near the upper edge: 'A Monsieur Lionel M. Alanson, amical souvenir'; signed in Japanese, signed 'Foujita San Francisco Sep. 1933 "Mon Portrait" Original au Musée du Louvre'.
