A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.

Please note, this work is oversize. The work is structurally sound. The base consists of three parts, a metal frame and two painted wooden boxes. The body of the figure is assembled from seven parts, over which the clothing is placed. There are minor losses and scuffing where each of the three pigtail pieces meet the head-- they are not visible when the work is fully assembled. Similarly, there are a few scuff marks where the top tier of the base meets the bottom-- again, these are not visible when the work is fully installed. There is a small scuff with a minute associated loss to the back of the head. There is a small yellow stain on the figure's white t-shirt shoulder, not visible when the work is fully installed. When examined under ultraviolet light, no inpainting is apparent.
