Lot Essay

Audrey Hepburn was much photographed wearing the white-enamelled metal belt in 1969/70 including with both here sons, her friend Doris Brynner and with the fashion designer Irene Galitzine. Eduardo Damasceno Sousa has kindly advised us that this belt comes from the Valentino Autumn/Winter collection 1968/69 and we are grateful for his assistance in researching this lot.
