My Most Unforgettable Child was a specially recorded programme for United Nations Radio, with seven stars of stage and screen narrating the tales of Unicef fieldworkers as they remembered the most unforgettable children they had met around the world, from orphans in Warsaw to sick children in the Philippines. Hepburn narrates a story by Unicef worker Alice Schafer about six little girls in Nicaragua, after first introducing herself as …a little like a walking United Nations myself.
