Christie’s is delighted to present a selection of works from the Shpilman Institute for Photography, featuring important photographs from the first half of the 20th century. Alongside a range of innovative landscapes, still lifes and nudes by major figures of the period, there is strong representation of avant-garde and experimental photography, with notable photomontage, double exposure, solarisation and photogram works by artists including Laszlo Moholy-Nagy, Raoul Haussman, Hans Bellmer, Maurice Tabard and Alexander Rodchenko.
