The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- the full sheet
- the screenprinted surface generally in very good condition, a diagonal polishing mark in the black on the left leg and one on the head (mainly visible in a raking light)
- an unobtrusive handling crease in the upper margin
- the tips of the upper left and lower right corners softly creased (only visible in a raking light)
Otherwise as described and generally in very good condition.
