Flying Copper

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- presumably the full sheet.
- very minor rubbing in the lower left subject.
- unobtrusive soft horizontal creasing in the blue background (presumably from the sheet being rolled), visible in a raking light.
- an 8 cm. (approx.) unobtrusive crease in the lower subject and a few tiny dents to the the lower sheet edge, with tiny flecks of associated ink loss.
- a tiny crease at the lower right sheet tip.
- two small marks in the lower left margin, possibly from framing clips.
- a few faint pressure marks in the margins at the sheet edges recto, visible in a raking light (caused by old paper hinges verso).
- some minor skinning at the sheet edges verso, caused by the removal of old hinges.
Otherwise as described in the catalogue and in good condition.
