The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet
- some minor soft scuffs in the black visible in a raking light (as is common)
- a few vertical creases have been flattened by a conservator (mainly visible on the reverse)
- the inkstamp slightly affected by moisture, mianly visible in the 'a' and on the reverse
- a small pale moisture stain at the extreme lower sheet edge
- a minor and unobtrusive soft crease at the upper left corner
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
