FURTHER DETAILS
Asprey Studio is thrilled to announce, Silver Scream, an edition of Edvard Munch's monochrome masterpiece The Scream, 1895 (litho), sourced from the official Art Institute of Chicago archive via Bridgeman Images. One of the most recognizable art works in the world reimaging by Asprey Studio, part of Asprey a 243-year-old English luxury house.

Edvard Munch stated "I walked with two friends. Then the sun sank. Suddenly the sky turned as red as blood ... My friends walked on, and I was left alone, trembling with fear. I felt as if all nature were filled with one mighty unending shriek."

Each piece is meticulously crafted from a sheet of sterling silver and oxidized using the original Scream lithograph, expertly handcrafted by the master silversmiths at Asprey's London workshop and finished by master engravers. The piece is digitally linked through Bitcoin Ordinals, ensuring that they will exist forever in a digital state. The digital piece has been coded into vector format that is clean translation of the original litho, linked in a parent / child inscription, the parent being the original litho image.

"It was a controlled and transformative process to capture our interpretation of 'Scream.' The physical piece will be hand-block oxidized on sterling silver, adorned with 'silver dust' from our polishing room, creating a subtle patina that makes it unique”, says Walker.
