We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Liu Hai: there are some losses and chips to the trailing knotted cord ends, a section of the cord at the back, and a small article in his right hand is chipped off. There are tiny nicks to the extremities of the toad.
The second figure: the overall condition is good, only a tiny spot of reddish-brown discoloration in the glaze at center.
