The group is modelled as a standing, robed figure of Lu Dongbing, one of the Eight Daoist Immortals, holding a fly whisk in his right arm and a sword slung across his back. A young boy holding a basket sits beside him, on a pierced rockwork plinth. The glaze is an ivory tone.
