A DEHUA HEXAGONAL TEAPOT AND COVER
17TH/18TH CENTURY
The teapot is molded on the sides with flame and hare medallions alternating with Buddhistic figures, with an angular spout and handle and a flat lid with a round-form finial. The base is impressed with a square seal mark, Kangxi nian zhi. The glaze is an ivory tone.
