LATE QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
Liuhai is depicted standing on a wave-swept ledge, wearing a loose short jacket. He holds a coin in one palm. A large mythological toad-like creature gazes up at him. The back is impressed with a double-gourd-shaped seal mark, He Chaochun. The glaze is a warm, cream tone.
