The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The vertical luting joints have slight stress cracks near the interior base due to the firing. There is an old stabilized body crack running diagonally through one knee and others around the shoulders all visible both on the exterior and interior. The sashes of the cap have four short hairlines. There is a small area of polish to the folds on the proper left elbow, and the expected nicks to the edges and extremities of the robes. There is small section of loss to the belt buckle. The face has several aperture piercings to receive strands of hair now missing. Modeled with robust elegance.

- 近器底內壁的縱向接胎處有幾道應力裂紋
-一膝上有一道斜向沖，經穩固，肩周圍亦有幾道沖，皆可自器內外看見
- 帽翅有四道短沖
- 左肘衣袍摺痕處有一小截經磨，衣袍邊沿有微磕，屬正常現象
- 帶扣有一小截缺損
- 面上有孔，以作穿繫鬚髮之用，鬚髮現已遺失
