The Goddess of Mercy is modelled seated and leaning on an arm rest, wearing a flowing, long robe, her contemplative face framed by cascading braids and a topknot, holding a ruyi scepter in her left hand, a stack of tied scrolls at her side, The back is impressed with a faint double-gourd-shaped seal mark, He Chaozong. The glaze is a warm, cream tone.
