A MASSIVE DEHUA-TYPE STANDING FIGURE OF GUANYIN
20TH CENTURY
The goddess is depicted standing on the back of a five-clawed dragon amidst lotus and swirling waves, wearing a long robe and with a cowled shawl over her head and shoulders, adorned with pendant jewelry on her chest, arms and suspended from the cinched waist. She holds a small vase in her raised right hand. The opaque glaze is a bright, white tone.
