The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas is unlined and is on its original stretcher which is providing good support. There are small pin holes to the upper corners, with a small area of paint loss around the upper right pin hole. There is a vertical line of cracking to lower right quadrant.
There is a layer of dirty varnish and the picture would benefit significantly from a clean.
UV light reveals no signs of damage or restoration and the picture is essentially in original untouched condition.
