The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas has been lined and is on what is probably its original stretcher, which is providing good support. There are some areas of frame abrasion to the right hand and lower edges. Under UV light there are some scattered areas of retouching to the girls faces, to a few spots on the left hand girls dress and some further areas of retouching to the background. There is also an area of retouching to the folds of the fabric the girls are holding and to some frame abrasions along the lower edge. It is presented in what is probably it’s original frame.
