The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas is unlined and is on its original stretcher which is providing good support.
The varnish appears to have discoloured and the picture would benefit from a light clean. There are some areas of rubbing at the frame edge.
Under UV light the dirty varnish fluoresces as do some of the bright green pigments but these appear to be consistent with the artist's original pigments. The picture is essentially in untouched condition.
