The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas is unlined and is on its original stretcher, which is providing good support. There are some tears to the corners of the canvas with some associated losses. There are a couple of other minor scuffs to the upper right corner and the left edge. There is a dirty and discoloured varnish and the picture would significantly benefit from a clean. There is a small area of paint loss to the bushes at the base of the tree.

Under UV, the painting does not show any signs of restoration.
