The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The paint layer appears to be in good secure and stable condition.
There are scattered discoloured retouches visible (as seen in the illustration).
Examination under UV light shows some scattered cosmetic retouches throughout including some previously mentioned discoloured retouches. The varnish lights up green.
The painting is presented in a period style frame.
