The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Structural condition
The artist's board is structurally sound and secure with an even profile. The overall structural
condition would appear to be very good.
There is a very slight crease line within the board.
Paint surface
The paint surface has an even varnish layer.
Inspection under ultraviolet light shows a thin line of retouching covering the crease line
mentioned above and just a few other very small spots in the sky.
Summary
The painting would therefore appear to be in good and stable condition and no further work is
required.
