Oil on panel. The panel is straight and solid showing a hairline crack circa 10cm running from the right edge (as seen from the reverse) inward, visible on the reverse. The painted surface appears to have been cleaned. The paint layer is secure and stable The aforementioned hairline crack is visible upon close inspection (not distracting). Examination under UV light shows no apparent retouches. The painting presents well in a decorative gilt frame.
