The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

oil on canvas, the canvas has been lined. The canvas has been put onto a new stretcher and re-stretched. The paint layer is secure and stable, the paint layer has been cleaned in the past. There is some minor varnish discolouration and some surface dirt. There are some minor patters of ageing craquelure.

Under UV examination shows retouching throughout the trees. Two small lines of retouching to the upper right quadrant and to the top left corner. Other scattered spots of retouching visible.

Overall the paintings presents well in a gilt composite style frame.
