The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas has not been lined.
There are 2 patches visible on the reverse circa 3x3 cm each.
The painted surface has light surface dirt. 
The paint layer appears to be secure and stable, in good condition with minor localised craquelure showing in racking light
There is a small area of horizontal cupping requires visible in the upper left quadrant 
There are a few spots of paint loss in the lower left quadrant 
There is minor scuffing at the outer edges.
Examination under UV light shows very few spots of retouching.
Overall the painting would benefit from a clean and professional retouching of the small spots of painting 
Presents well in a gilt composite period style frame.
