The paint layer appears to be secure and stable showing minor flatness due to relining. There is a fine pattern of ageing craquelures visible on closer inspection throughout.
Examination under UV light shows cosmetic retouches to some of the background craquelure and other minor defects.
Overall the painting presents well in a period style gilt frame and is ready to hang.
