The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The paper has been hinged at the top edge with three pieces of tape to an acidic mount, from which we would advise removal.
There is some slight light staining to the paper.
Overall the pigments remain fresh and strong.
There is some very light surface dirt to the upper right.
Overall the work presents well in a gilt and cream coloured mount, in a gilt composite frame, protected behind glass.
