The panel is in good condition overall. The panel is clean and the calligraphy is clear and legible with very minor losses to the ink, consistent with age. The marbled paper ground has several small scuff marks and surface abrasions but is stablised by the card backing. The card margins have very faint discolouration. The reverse is plain with a sticker reading 'HS 899' and minor discolouration around the edges from previous tape placement.
